Education

The members of the group have an extensive teaching experience on graduate and post-graduate studies in different subjects in Computer Science such as Operating Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Programming Technologies, Algebra and Information Retrieval.

In particular, Dr. Álvaro Barreiro has been the coordinator of the Advanced Models and Techniques in Information Retrieval course in the PhD program of the Computer Science Department, with a quality mention from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Education MCD - 2005 00166, and in the Master in Informatics (2006-...). Currently, he is the coordinator of  Information Extraction and Retrieval course of the MSc in Computer Science of the Department of Computer Science of the University of A Coruña.

Other members of the group have also experience in official study programs, courses and seminars, with an active collaboration in the courses of the Aula de Formación Informática and other institutions such as University of Santiago de Compostela or Confederación de Empresarios de Ferrol.
